The Purpose of the Red Sea Mission

Islam originated in Saudi Arabia in 610 AD and has since spread across the world. Today, there are 57 Muslim-majority countries and 110 nations with over one million Muslims. In the 21st century, Islam has grown into a global religion with 1.5 billion adherents, and there are active efforts to influence nations such as the United States and South Korea.

The Red Sea Mission is a non-profit missionary organization based in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20) by reaching the Islamic world—Christianity’s greatest challenge and mission field. The mission seeks to evangelize the Muslim world by studying Islam, training leaders from cultures, and establishing tribal churches in key gateway cities across 22 countries.

Additionally, the Red Sea Mission actively engages with Arab Christian communities in the United States, fostering fellowship, support, and collaboration in missionary work. By building relationships with Arab Christian leaders and congregations, the mission seeks to strengthen the faith of believers from Muslim backgrounds, equip them as missionaries, and create a unified front in spreading the gospel to Islamic communities both in the U.S. and abroad.

Mission

The Red Sea Mission is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by evangelizing the Islamic world, the most challenging yet vital mission field. Through in-depth study of Islam, leadership training, and strategic church planting, we aim to bring the gospel to Muslim communities, establish indigenous churches, and equip believers to serve as effective witnesses of Christ.

Vision

The vision of the Red Sea Mission is to see a transformative movement of Christianity within the Islamic world. By training and equipping leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds, we strive to plant thriving, self-sustaining tribal churches in key gateway cities across 22 countries. Our long-term goal is to establish a global network of disciples and church leaders who will continue the mission of spreading the gospel among unreached Muslim communities.
